Sports Day

Sports Day 2026

The children had an amazing time at this year's Sports Day.

There was a wide range of activities for everyone to enjoy, including archery, adapted croquet, wall throw, long-distance throw, rolling into a target, and shoot to goal.

The children also had the opportunity to take part in a variety of track and field events, including running races, the sack race, a space hopper race, and the egg and spoon race. Parents joined in too, taking part in a fun three-legged race.

Alongside the activities, children were able to enjoy refreshments and access a sensory regulation area.

A big thank you to all of the parents and families who joined us and helped make the day such a success.

This day links to our work as a Rights Respecting School, particularly Article 24, which recognises every child's right to health and wellbeing, and Article 31, which highlights every child's right to play, relax and take part in recreational activities. Sports Day gave children the opportunity to be active, have fun and enjoy participating alongside their friends and families.
