World Food Day

As part of World Food Day, children explored and experienced foods from around the world through tasting, smelling, touching and discussing different foods.

The activity encouraged curiosity, communication and sensory exploration while helping children learn about different cultures and healthy eating.

Children practised good hygiene by washing their hands before handling and tasting foods from around the world.

This supports children’s right to health and wellbeing (Article 24) and their right to develop their abilities and learn new skills through education (Article 29).
