The children had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The event provided valuable opportunities to develop their social skills, engage in friendly competition, build confidence, and take part in a range of inclusive recreational activities. It was a positive and rewarding day for all pupils involved.

This visit supported the children’s rights to play, leisure and recreation (Article 31) while providing an inclusive opportunity for all pupils to participate, develop confidence and build positive relationships with others. Through taking part in a range of sporting activities, pupils were able to develop their skills and talents (Article 29) and experience being active members of the wider community (Article 23).
