World Culture Day 2025!

Kingsbury Academy hosted our annual World Culture and Diversity Day celebration. Throughout the week, learners have been immersed in creating art pieces inspired by artists from around the world, cooking and tasting foods from other cultures and exploring dance and music from around the world! With the support of our Junior Leadership team, learners designed an event that they wanted and decided on an outdoor festival they had a tremendous time celebrating.

One of the best things about our school is the wide range of cultures represented by our children, parents and staff, and we wanted to show off this amazing diversity with a full day of celebrations! On the day, pupils were invited to dress in cultural clothing or to wear a colour representing a flag of choice. Each class chose a country to base activities on and learners were transported to try different foods, listen and respond to music and engage with their peers.

An amazing 20+ different languages are spoken by our pupils and their families at Kingsbury Academy and consist of a wide range of religions and belief systems which, we believe, make us a fun and culturally vibrant place.
