Kingsbury Academy presents World Culture day 2024! 

Our Junior leadership team have supported us in planning a fantastic day learning and celebrating different cultures.

Learners are encouraged to wear traditional clothing or colours to represent the flag of choice. We will also be having a Chinese Lion dance performance, a special menu at lunchtime and a range of class-based activities which will involve art and crafts, music, dancing and cooking.

As a Rights Respecting school, article 8 the right to an identity will be taught to learners who will have the opportunity to understand their own heritage and cultural background. The rights to celebrate cultures around the world (article 30 and article 31 the right to art, play and culture are also key parts of the day.
