Andrea Davis: Head Teacher
Andrea has been working in Special Educational Needs for 30 years, working within the Primary SEN sector. Andrea has had a variety of leadership positions for the last 16 years. Andrea has found it incredibly rewarding to work with children with additional needs and has been proud to see their achievements, both small and large steps. Andrea believes she has contributed to improving pupils outcomes over the last thirty years which gives her such a sense of satisfaction.
Andrea is married with three grown up children, four beautiful grandchildren, two dogs and a cat.
Susannah Roberts: Deputy Head Teacher
Susannah has lived in Coventry for 6 years and has a 4-year-old daughter. Susannah have been in education for 23 years with 21 of these working in special needs school including residential schools both in the UK and America. Susannah has been Deputy Head Teacher of Kingsbury Academy since 2015. Susannah enjoys swimming, scuba diving, reading and shopping!
Clair Nutt: Assistant Head Teacher
Clair started her career in 2003 at Calthorpe Academy. Clair completed the Graduate Teacher Programme and gained MEd in Learning difficulties in 2009 . As a PE consultant for Birmingham Local Authority, Clair worked in both Primary and Secondary mainstream schools as well as Higher Education and presented at the AfPE National conference. Clair gained the National SENCO qualification in 2015 and this supported her career progression to Assistant Headteacher at Kingsbury Academy. During this time, Clair has become a parent to two beautiful boys, as a family they enjoy outdoor activities, Swimming and going to the Theatre.
Sayeda Akhter: Pastoral Lead
Sayeda has worked across Educational settings for 15 years. Sayeda began working in special schools 8 years ago and has thoroughly enjoyed working with so many wonderful pupils and families. Sayeda currently holds the position of Pastoral lead at Kingsbury Academy and enjoys spending time with my family and friends and cooking.
